Topic: Plastic Bag Project for the Homeless

June Topic:  Plastic Bag Project for the homeless.  All supplies provided. Plastic supermarket bags are cut into strips ( no measuring needed)! These strips will be delivered to a Methodist women’s circle who crochets them into mats.  The fellowship during this activity is wonderful. It combines “ busy hands” and service to a much needed community.  After the mats are finished, they are distributed to a non profit organization.

Women’s Circle will be a featured Sacred Service Team later in June and women are invited to come visit the display in the lobby after Sunday Services. A picture of the upcoming project in July will be included as part of this display.

We are the women of Unity Atlanta Church and we meet once a month, on the 1st Saturday. We practice a balance in spiritual growth, and social activities, sharing and support…support for each other, our church and our community.
