These ministry teams offer opportunities to make friends, touch lives, and build a loving community.

Audio Visual Team

Audiovisual technicians set up and run the sound and video equipment used to conduct Sunday services, meetings, and special events. They manage soundboards, lighting, graphics, and live streaming.

 

Bookstore Angels

Bookstore Angels keep The Wisdom Well bookstore running smoothly on Sunday mornings and during special events. They greet visitors, assist with purchases, and support the bookstore as a revenue source for the church.

 

Congregational Care

This compassionate team provides affirmative prayer and support for members, guests, and friends of Unity Atlanta Church. Members listen, pray affirmatively, and maintain strict confidentiality. They offer one-on-one prayer after the 11:00 am service and respond to written and online prayer requests.

 

Choir and Music Department (The Soulful Harmonics)

The Unity Atlanta Church Choir and Music Department lift the spirit of the congregation through gospel, New Thought, and contemporary music, creating a powerful worship experience. Rehearsals are currently on Sundays at 12:45 pm.

Community Outreach

This team organizes community service projects throughout the year including the Hunger Walk and school supply drives for local students.

 

Energy Healers (Reiki/Pranic and Magnified Healing)

Reiki and Magnified Healing are gentle energy-based techniques that promote stress reduction and relaxation. Offered most Sundays from 10:00 – 10:50 am, these sessions support holistic well-being.

 

Gardening Group

Join our gardeners in nurturing the church grounds into a place of beauty. Volunteers especially help during early fall and spring planting seasons.

 

Hospitality Team

Sign up: Coffee Bar (Sundays)

 

The Hospitality Team provides coffee and snacks every Sunday morning, creating a warm, welcoming space for fellowship and connection before and after service.

 

Men’s Group

This group meets most Thursdays and offers fellowship, support, and spiritual growth for men in the Unity community. Members share experiences, learn from one another, and build lasting friendships.

 

Run/Walk Group

The Run/Walk Group meets once a month at different parks. Each person will walk or run at their own pace and meet back in about an hour. The group gathers for an optional breakfast afterward

 

Welcome Team (Ushers and Greeters)

The Welcome Team is often the first point of contact for guests, offering warm greetings, handing out welcome packets, gathering the offering, and assisting with questions. Members typically serve one Sunday a month.

Women’s Circle

The Women’s Circle meets on the second Saturday of each month, blending spiritual growth with social connection, support, and service to the church and community.

 

Youth and Family Ministry

This ministry provides a nurturing environment for children ages 3 through high school to learn and apply spiritual principles. Classes are guided by Unity Worldwide Ministries curricula and taught by two teachers per classroom.
