Topic: Torah and Tarot with Linda Burnett

Many of you know Linda Burnett from the office, and she does marketing for the church, composing the newsletter and graphics and social media for the church.  However, she has quite a different background. She was ordained as a Presbyterian minister, and was then led to convert to Judaism.  She also completed a masters degree in Jewish Studies.  She teaches classes on integrating the Tarot (as a spiritual tool, not prediction) and the Kabbalah adding a mystical dimension to one’s outlook and one’s daily life.  This past year she published her first book, Torah and Tarot | The Chariot; Jewish Contemplations on the Major Arcana.

Our Sisterhood meets at the church from 10:30am – Noon on the 2nd Saturday each month.

Vision and Mission

We are an open group of women dedicated to supporting, uplifting, and empowering one another, our beloved community, and the world. Together, we enjoy a dedicated time and place in which each of us can explore and express our talents and spiritual gifts.

Sisterhood meetings are a creative combination of presentations by guests or members; group discussions, service projects, and outings, making use of fun and laughter as much as possible.

Our process is collaborative. Participants can propose and present programs. Suggestions for guest presenters and activities are encouraged. Everyone has a voice in the operation of our activities.

This is a safe space, and confidentiality is maintained.
