Theme:  We are often tempted by our lower nature to condemn, criticize or complain – to “cast the first stone.” If we allow mindfulness to prevail in these moments, we essentially reinforce our Christ Identity and that of others. A simple decision with lasting effects.

About Rev. Steve Bolen:

Rev. Bolen graduated from Lander University in 1968 and after completing a tour in the U.S. Navy, he began a successful career in sales and sales management.

Having been raised in the study of metaphysics and mysticism, when he found Unity in the early 1980s, he knew it was the spiritual path that he was to take. Over the next twenty-three years, Rev. Bolen served Unity churches in Tennessee, Arizona and then Georgia where he and Mary, a Licensed Unity Teacher, pioneered a Unity Christ Center. They served there for eleven years.

In 2007 he received the call to Unity Church of the Hills in Austin, Texas where he served as Senior Minister from 2007 to 2017.  He and Mary currently offer spiritual support and inspiration through First Light Ministry, an online, outreach endeavor. The Bolens teach the unconditional love of God for all, and the healing power of  forgiveness in bringing this love forth to more fully express our indwelling Christ.

Rev. Steve and Mary live near Ball Ground, Georgia where they are blessed to be closer to their four children and thirteen grandchildren. They continue to speak at Unity churches locally and nationally.
