About Rev. ChieStine Lawrence:

Born and raised in Springfield, Illinois, Rev. ChieStine Lawrence grew up with a deep love for learning, community, and creative expression. Her journey eventually led her to the Metro Atlanta area, where she moved to pursue higher education and where she would ultimately build both her spiritual home and her professional legacy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Spelman College, grounding her in a lifelong appreciation for science, innovation, and the limitless possibilities of the human mind.

ChieStine’s spiritual journey took a transformative turn when she discovered Unity in 2016. Drawn to its teachings of love, oneness, and the divine potential within every individual, she joined Unity Atlanta in 2017 and quickly became an active and devoted member. Over the years, she has served as a Prayer Chaplain, Worship Facilitator, and member of the Congregational Care Team under the leadership of Rev. Jennifer Sacks. Inspired to deepen her understanding of spiritual principles and answer her calling to ministry, ChieStine enrolled in the Unity Urban Ministerial School, where she completed her studies and was ordained as a Unity Minister in June 2025.

Today, ChieStine is the founder and director of Love, Light and Power Ministries, a ministry dedicated to inspiring individuals to recognize their divine nature, embrace their spiritual power, and create lives filled with greater love, joy, purpose, and possibility. Rooted in New Thought principles, the ministry seeks to make practical spiritual teachings accessible, relevant, and empowering for people from all walks of life.

As an extension of this vision, ChieStine created the Love, Light and Power broadcast app, available for download on Roku and Amazon Fire TV. Through the app, viewers can receive a daily dose of inspiration, spiritual encouragement, and empowering New Thought teachings designed to uplift their consciousness and remind them of the extraordinary power already within them. Her vision is to use modern technology to share timeless spiritual truths, reaching people wherever they are and helping them bring spiritual principles into their everyday lives.

While her ministry continues to expand, Unity Atlanta remains ChieStine’s spiritual home and holds a special place in her heart. She continues to actively serve the community that helped nurture her ministerial journey, participating as a worship partner, supporting the Congregational Care Team, and teaching new members’ classes. For ChieStine, ministry is not simply about what happens behind a pulpit. It is about how we live, love, serve, and show up for one another every day.

Music is another essential thread in ChieStine’s life. A passionate vocalist and songwriter, she enjoys performing with her band and finds joy in creating music that uplifts, inspires, and brings people together. She sees music as another powerful expression of the divine and a beautiful way to connect hearts, transcend differences, and celebrate life.

Professionally, ChieStine has built a distinguished career as an IT consultant with expertise in software development, ecommerce solutions, and large scale technical leadership. She has provided strategic guidance and technical expertise to Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries, including banking, entertainment, retail, travel, and construction. She currently serves as the Managing Director of Intellispan, an AI solutions company dedicated to helping businesses modernize their operations through intelligent technologies. Her unique combination of technical expertise and spiritual understanding fuels her passion for finding innovative ways to connect, educate, and empower others.

ChieStine’s commitment to community service is equally strong. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Emma L. Wilson King Foundation, an organization devoted to supporting youth in Illinois and revitalizing the community of East St. Louis. Her work with the Foundation reflects her lifelong passion for service, empowerment, and creating pathways of opportunity for others.

Whether through her ministry, music, technology, or community service, ChieStine Lawrence is guided by a simple yet profound belief that the divine presence within each of us is greater than any limitation we may perceive. Her life’s work is an invitation for others to awaken to that truth, embrace their infinite potential, and live with greater intention, compassion, and joy.
