Congregational Care Team 2024 Training Announcement

• Do you comfortably offer a helping hand to lighten someone else’s burden?
• Do you visit and/or call those who are home ill or in the hospital?
• Do you check in with others who have suffered a loss or death of a loved one?
• Are you an attentive listener?
• Do people naturally turn to you for kindness and compassion?
• Are you passionate about prayer?

If any of these apply to you, Unity Atlanta Church has a team of dedicated people like this.  They are the Congregational Care Team Members who provide care and encouragement during life’s difficulties and support others in affirmative, confidential prayer.   This team specifically serves and supports those in the congregation who have spiritual needs and/or desire compassionate prayer.

If this blessed calling speaks to your heart and you’re committed to encouraging and supporting others, please join us Saturday, January 27th , from 10 am to 4 pm in the Chapel.

In this training, you’ll learn to:

• Discern how and when to support others who are hurting or in need.
• Listen compassionately.
• Hold sacred space.
• Pray affirmatively with others.
• Deepen your own prayer life.
