About Rev. Dr. John Karn:

Rev. Dr. John is a licensed and Ordained minister since 2015 with a Doctorate of Divinity and a Doctorate in Religious Studies.  He’s a certified hospice chaplain and religious science practitioner as well.  He’s been faculty of the Emerson Theological Institute since 2014 and the Dean of Students since 2023. Besides teaching, his passion is to serve the disenfranchised, be they homeless and under a bridge or LGBTQIA in the prison system.  He serves on the Emerson Theological Institute’s board of directors and the Affiliated New Thought Network’s board of directors.
