September Coffee House: Celebrating Family

Time: 7:00 – 9:30 pm
Location: Fellowship Hall
To Bring:
1. Dinner will be potluck. You’re encouraged to bring a favorite dish you enjoy making for your family. How about that yummy recipe that’s been passed down for generations?
2. Bring a photo of your family(ies) for our display table

Our September Coffee House will celebrate all those we hold dear as “family.” This includes our family of birth, neighbors and friends who’ve become our chosen family, special groups of folks who share common interests, and of course our Unity Atlanta Church family. We look forward to gathering together to exchange uplifting family experiences.

There are endless ways to celebrate the importance of family and how key it is to our happiness.

Here are a few examples:

• Share a sweet, triumphant or jaw-dropping story
• Sing a song or recite a poem that speaks to the heart of family
• Bring memorabilia for show and tell
• Relay that important lesson you learned from your family
• Teach us a cultural dance
• Explain who everyone is in that special photo
