DESCRIPTION:Women’s Circle is meeting over the holiday weekend\, July 6th at 10:30am. \n Topic: Plastic Bag Project for the Homeless\n \nDate: Saturday\, July 6\nTime: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm\nLocation: The Chapel \nJune Topic:  Plastic Bag Project for the homeless.  All supplies provided. Plastic supermarket bags are cut into strips ( no measuring needed)! These strips will be delivered to a Methodist women’s circle who crochets them into mats.  The fellowship during this activity is wonderful. It combines “ busy hands” and service to a much needed community.  After the mats are finished\, they are distributed to a non profit organization. \nWomen’s Circle will be a featured Sacred Service Team later in June and women are invited to come visit the display in the lobby after Sunday Services. A picture of the upcoming project in July will be included as part of this display. \nWe are the women of Unity Atlanta Church and we meet once a month\, on the 1st Saturday. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy A Healing Session From Healing Ministry Team\n \nHealing Room Hours:  Sundays\, 10:30 – 11:00 am\nLocation: Room 105\, on the left side of the Bookstore as you walk into the front lobby.  Sign in sheets are just inside the Healing Room.\nCost: Our healing practitioners provide healing sessions on a love offering basis. \nUnity Atlanta Healing Room is open and active most Sundays before services.  We offer relaxing energy treatments and chakra balancing by certified healers for love-offerings which go directly to Unity Atlanta Church. \nAll are welcome!  No reason necessary\, just come to say “Hello” or check out the room. The energy work is performed on sturdy massage tables behind screens for privacy.  There are comfortable chairs to sit in while visiting our healers or waiting for a treatment. \nOur healing team is about to grow\, and if you are a certified healer and would like to join our team\, please come in and speak with Elisha. Dolores Voorhees is an independent New Thought minister. She was ordained in 1990\, by the Rev. Dr. Barbara Lewis King\, the Founder of Hillside International Truth Center in Atlanta\, Georgia. In 2003\, Rev. Dolores was inducted into the Martin Luther King\, Jr. Board of Preachers at Morehouse College Chapel.  Rev. Steve Bolen\, Guest Speaker\nMessage Theme: What a difference it can make for us as we move through life\, to know that we are in the constant Presence of God. We will dive deeply into the truth of “I am always with you.” and how to make this great teaching come alive for us. \n\nAbout Rev. Steve and Mary Bolen: \nRev. Bolen graduated from Lander University in 1968 and after completing a tour in the U.S. Navy\, he began a successful career in sales and sales management. \nHaving been raised in the study of metaphysics and mysticism\, when he found Unity in the early 1980s\, he knew it was the spiritual path that he was to take. Over the next twenty-three years\, Rev. Bolen served Unity churches in Chattanooga\, Tennessee\, Arizona and Georgia where he pioneered a Unity Church with his beloved wife\, Mary\, a Licensed Unity Teacher. They served there for eleven years. In 2007 he received the call to Unity Church of the Hills in Austin\, Texas where he served as Senior Minister from 2007 to 2017.  He and Mary currently offer spiritual support and inspiration through First Light Ministry\, an online\, outreach endeavor. \nThe Bolens bring a message of hope and healing\, teaching the unconditional love of God for all and the power of true forgiveness in bringing that love to our awareness and allowing our unique expressions of the Christ to bless the world. \nHe served as President of the Unity Ministers of the Mid-Atlantic States and has been recognized by the Board of Preachers of The Martin Luther King Chapel at Morehouse College. He was cited for his leadership in the Interfaith community of Central Texas. \nRev. Steve and Mary live near Ball Ground\, Georgia where they are blessed to be closer to their four children and thirteen grandchildren. They continue to speak at Unity churches locally and nationally. They have just celebrated their 38th Wedding Anniversary. \n
